It combines cognitive-behavioral principles with coaching techniques to promote self-awareness, positive change, and goal achievement.

How to Facilitate CBC:

  1. Identification of Thoughts and Beliefs: The coach helps the client become aware of their thoughts and beliefs, especially those that contribute to challenges or negative emotions.
  2. Challenging Cognitive Distortions: Clients are guided in identifying and challenging cognitive distortions or irrational beliefs that may lead to unhelpful behaviors or emotions.
